Welcome to Auto Transport Pros. By accessing our website or using our auto transport services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.
1. Services
Auto Transport Pros arranges auto transport services by matching customers with FMCSA-licensed and insured motor carriers. We function as an auto transport broker.
2. Quotes and Booking
Quotes are estimated based on current market rates and are not guaranteed until a carrier is fully dispatched. A booking is considered confirmed once a carrier accepts the load and the initial reservation deposit is paid.
3. Vehicle Condition and Preparation
The customer is responsible for ensuring the vehicle is prepared for transport. This includes removing all loose items, personal belongings, toll tags, and disabling alarm systems. Personal belongings left in the vehicle are completely at the customer's risk and are not covered by the carrier's cargo insurance.
4. Pickup and Delivery
Pickup and delivery dates are estimated, not guaranteed. Unforeseen circumstances such as severe weather, road closures, traffic, or mechanical breakdowns can cause delays. Auto Transport Pros is not liable for rental car fees or any other accommodations due to transport delays.
5. Inspections and Damage Claims
You or your designated representative must formally inspect the vehicle at both pickup and delivery. All preexisting damage MUST be noted on the Bill of Lading (BOL) at pickup. Any new damage MUST be noted on the BOL at delivery before signing. Failure to mark damage on the BOL at delivery releases the carrier and Auto Transport Pros from all liability. All damage claims must be filed directly with the carrier's insurance company.
6. Payments
The balance owed after the reservation deposit is generally due exactly upon delivery. Carriers accept Cash, Cashier's Check, or Postal Money Order. Credit cards are only accepted for the initial dispatch deposit unless expressly arranged beforehand.
7. Cancellations
Orders can be cancelled at any time prior to the vehicle being picked up. If a carrier has already been dispatched, a dispatch fee may apply.
8. Limitations of Liability
Auto Transport Pros is a property broker. The contracted motor carrier is solely liable for any damage, loss, or delay during transit. Auto Transport Pros takes no responsibility for the mechanical functioning of a vehicle.
